This webinar will focus on how to preserve the existing urban tree canopy. It will help municipalities, counties, and other governmental entities to properly manage different types of work impacting trees (excluding tree planting) being done in their jurisdiction. Attendees will learn (1) the recommended steps and pre-construction process for any tree-work/construction project, (2) what standards are expected when tree-work/construction is taking place around trees, (3) the recommended process for sidewalk and utility conflicts, and (4) determining restitution when trees are being removed or damaged.
