Field techniques for including the analysis of load and health into everyday tree risk assessment
Summary
This workshop will focus on field techniques required to include tree load and tree health in the process of tree risk assessment, as specified in the 2011 BMP on the procedure. The session will have three parts: an indoor overview of the topic; an outdoor supervised application of field techniques, and a general risk assessment of outdoor trees incorporating what has been learned. Participants will leave with practical skills based on solid science that will raise the quality of their tree tree risk assessment and bring them into compliance with the BMP.
