We will discuss: The implementation of coronet cuts in urban contexts, including:
The principles of natural pruning, comprising the longevity of axes (tree architecture fundamentals).
The principles of artificial pruning, comprising a pruning cuts retrospective (flush cuts, from the 19th century to the 1980s - De Curval/Des Cars; natural target pruning cuts - from Shigo to Dujesiefken and coronet cuts - Fay)
The CODIT model, comprising two distinct processes (compartmentalization, an inside process and occlusion, an external process) & the CODIT principle, comprising 4 phases of reaction to wounds.
