We're pleased to announce that the City of Austin will once again partner with Texas A&M Forest Service and Arborholic, LLC to provide the Certified Arborist exam prep course. The class will be offered April 1, 8, 15 & 22 at the Development Services Department offices at 5202 E. Ben White, Suite 300. More information about the class can be found at www.arborholic.com/cap.
Registration is open at www.arborholic.com/cap2019a. The City of Austin is subsidizing the course for folks who live or work within the Austin MSA (http://bit.ly/AustinMSA) reducing the price from $250 to $100. In addition, they are also providing two full scholarships to interested students; complete the form at bit.ly/CAPSCHOLAR2019A by March 1 to apply.
This course is ideal for property managers, developers, construction inspectors, landscape architects, landscape tree workers, or anyone who wants to learn the essential principles and practices of tree care. While this class will be geared towards professionals, it is also appropriate for the nonprofessional who is interested in a deeper and broader knowledge of trees.
