Description:
Trees are often the most overlooked plants in our landscapes. Many diseases and pests of trees can result in future problems unless they are addressed when first observed.
In this two-session online course, Horticulturist Steve Kristoph will teach you to identify the common and not-so-common diseases and pests of ornamental trees, conifers, and shade trees, and discuss options for prevention and treatment. You'll also review basic tree biology and best management practices that will help to prevent potential problems.
This class has two lectures: one on February 24 and one on February 25. Each lecture is from 9a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The lectures will be recorded as they happen. Students will be able to access both lectures until March 15.
