Description:
Join the PNW-ISA Chapter at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon for a 6 hour instructional workshop where you will:
1. Develop a greater understanding of soil science, nutrients, and hydrology
2. Be able to quickly summarize the main insect pests to watch for and describe control options available.
3. Recognize opportunities to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in our industry.
4. Have a deeper understanding of safe strategies for tree climbing, rigging, and peer assessment.
5. Identify several tree species in the landscape and share cultural, taxonomical, and maintenance stories.
6. Gain a sense of how arboriculture has changed over the years and what’s on the horizon.
