This hybrid in-person course just outside Richmond, Virginia, with additional live attendance through an online webinar will focus on trees as the key element in truly sustainable landscapes and landscape designs. There still remain many myths about trees in the "Urban Forest". Without addressing these myths and misconceptions, we risk putting both new and existing trees at a greater likelihood of decline and failure.
We will cover both basic and advanced arboriculture to enhance our knowledge of what trees need, as well as key aspects of soil and water crucial to the health of trees. Additionally, we'll look at standards and BMP's for tree care, trends in the tree and landscape industries, and tools and technology.
