This is the introductory course to the Utility Vegetation Management Certificate Program. This introductory course builds the foundational knowledge required to understand the many facets of the utility vegetation industry including an overview of the industry, the North American electrical systems, and utility arboriculture.
The Utility Vegetation Management Certificate Program is a collaborative program amongst the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, the Utility Arborist Association, and the Utility Vegetation Management Associated. The certificate program is comprised of six, 12-week online courses. Each course is project-based and designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed for career advancement with the UVM industry.
