Recent developments in our profession have sought to distinguish arboriculture from urban and community forestry. While arboriculture is a well-developed field of practice, urban and community forestry continues to evolve. This presentation will discuss those developments and how they may impact arborists and arboriculture.
Jim is a Managing Consulting Arborist with HortScience | Bartlett Consulting in Pleasanton, CA. He was educated at Rutgers University and the University of California (Davis). He and Nelda Matheny are currently preparing a new edition of the Municipal Arborist Study Guide for the ISA.
