Join us for a discussion of current and future Utility Arborist Research Fund (UARF) projects. J. Eric Smith, President and CEO of TREE Fund, will touch on UARF’s history and announce the new 2018 UARF grant awards. Dr. Christopher Halle of Sonoma State University will detail the work currently being done on the UARF project entitled “Integrated Vegetation Management on Powerline Rights-of-Ways: Effects of Vegetation Treatment on Plant communities and Wildlife Diversity” and highlight the discoveries being made.
