Are you interested in understanding the nuances between moving rope and stationary rope systems? Would you like to learn how moving rope systems and stationary rope systems interact to create a balanced work climb experience?
If you want to learn how to climb trees using modern tree climbing techniques this course is for you.
Are you interested in understanding how to implement and perform the techniques of modern tree climbing?
This course will provide you with training in the use of specialized equipment and techniques employed in Moving Rope Systems (MRS) and Stationary Rope Systems (SRS). Safe work procedures for popular technical work at height systems are demonstrated and practiced. You will gain an understanding of the advantages and limitations of MRS and SRS while maintaining and following safe work practices and legislation pertaining to fall protection. Forces on anchor points, re-directs and tie-off methods for tree climbing systems completes this informative course. This course meets the requirements of ANSI Z133, Z359, CSA Z259 and is in compliance with ANSI Z490 – Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training.
