Description:
21st Century landscapes and lawns harbor a host of forces which depreciate trees and shrubs. These are not only infectious disease or attacking insects, but also “affectious” disease—abiotic agents and actions that annually compromise and cause the death of trees and shrubs worth of millions of dollars. This seminar will delve into common abiotic diseases, as well as planting procedures and landscape conditions that can influence tree health. Solutions for repair will be presented and Q&A opportunities will be engaged throughout the session. The class is taught by Jeffrey Ling, the senior Registered Consulting Arborist in Indiana, holding full credentials with ASCA for 30 years. He is currently the president-elect of ASCA and a TPAQ Instructor.
This course has been approved to carry 6 ISA credits for certified arborists and municipal specialists (s=2, p=2, m=2), and 6 LTE/LTCO CEUs from the NJ Board of Tree Experts.
