Arboriculture is generally defined as the care and management of individual trees in the urban landscape. This comprehensive and participatory course is designed to prepare professionals for the Certified Arborist exam offered by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). This course is ideal for tree care specialists and urban foresters seeking to advance their careers in arboriculture. Over eight weeks of lectures, the course prepares arborists through lectures and discussions that supplement the Arborists’ Certification Study Guide, the course textbook. (Please note - the Arborists Study Guide is NOT included in the registration fee. You can purchase this through the ISA Headquarters store) The course is taught by two ISA Board Certified Master Arborists, Alexander Martin and Chris Madison. This course will take over nine weeks virtually via Zoom webinar starting on Thursdays August 1 through September 26, 2024.
