Description:
The International Arboriculture Summit (Hong Kong) will be held from Wednesday to Friday, 18–20 November 2026, at the Chinese Y.M.C.A. Wu Kai Sha Youth Village in Hong Kong.
Hosted by the Institute of Arboriculture Studies (HK), which has delivered arboriculture and urban forestry programmes since 2008, the Summit continues its two-year theme, "Tree Structure & Stability". The 2026 focus is "Practical Assessment, Pruning, Engineering, Decay & Mitigation Strategies".
Each year, the Summit welcomes participants from across Asia and beyond, including tree and forest consultants, arborists, urban foresters, landscape architects, city planners, researchers, educators, contractors, landscapers, construction and environmental managers, business owners, and government tree management staff. If trees are part of your work, research, or professional interest, this Summit is for you.
The 2026 Summit will feature expert-led lectures, practical case studies, technical discussions, outdoor learning opportunities, and valuable networking with arboriculture and urban forestry professionals from Hong Kong, Asia, and around the world.
As arboriculture continues to evolve, the Summit brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners to share the latest practices, technologies, and professional approaches while strengthening core knowledge and practical understanding across the industry.
