Safety in Arboriculture - Can we Achieve Zero Accidents?
Monday, 10 August 2015
1:00 PM — 2:30 PM
Osceola Ballroom D
A, T, M, L, Bm
It is almost expected that there will be accidents when providing arboricultural services. The typical rate of injury in our industry is about one per 5,000 hours of work. This results in pain and suffering, a loss of income, and higher prices for the client. This panel will discuss how one Division of the Bartlett Tree Expert Company has reduced their personal injury rate to one per 65,000 hours. They will discuss some of their common accidents and how to reduce or eliminate them. The panel is composed of Bartlett Vice President Scott Jamison, Division Manager Peter Becker and Safety and Training coordinator Joe Bones. Bring your questions for the discussion.
