Arne Mattsson

Arne Mattsson has been working with urban tree management and policymaking in the City of Malmö for more than 30 years. He was one of those responsible for making Malmö the European city of the trees in 2009 and in the same year he hosted the European Tree Climbing competition. Arne has devoted his career to the urban forest and has supervised the inventory and re-inventory of around 60 000 street and park trees. During Arnes long career in Malmö he has worked with many of the Urban Forestry projects and was for a long period responsible for the HR and budget for a large area of the urban forest division.
