Ahmed Ali

Dr. A. D. Ali Technical Advisor Davey Institute The Davey Tree Expert Co. Dr. Ali has over 30 years of experience in the Green Industry. He provides technical support to Davey field offices throughout the southeast and Texas. He also provides arboricultural consulting services including Plant Health Care seminars, plant problem diagnosis and landscape management. Dr. Ali was an Adjunct Professor at Florida Southwestern State College and at Hodges University in Ft. Myers. Dr. Ali is an Entomologist by training. He received his BS in Entomology and MS in Plant Protection and Pest Management from the University of California at Davis; and his PhD in Entomology from Louisiana State University. He is a Board Certified Master Arborist and serves on the Board of Directors, Florida Chapter ISA. Dr. Ali has written a book on Pest Management in the Landscape. In addition, he has presented 130 scientific and training seminars, attended 135 conferences, symposia and workshops, and authored more than 300 scientific and trade-oriented articles.
