Mejores prácticas de manejo—Plantación de árboles, segunda edición (2014)
La Sociedad Internacional de Arboricultura (International Society of Arboriculture o ISA, por sus siglas en inglés) ha elaborado una serie de mejores practices de manejo (MPM o BMPs, por sus siglas en inglés) con el propósito de interpretar las normas sobre aboricultura y de ofrecer directrices prácticas a arboristas, trabajadores de los árboles y personas que contratan sus servicios.
Esta MPM, ya disponible en español, contiene información importante ilustrada con dibujos y tablas. Explica la preparación adecuada del cepellón y el hoyo de plantación, el mejor proceso de plantación, y la poda y el mantenimiento subsecuentes.
También, es una publicación acompañante del estándar ANSI A300 Tree Care Standards.

ISA has developed a series of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for the purpose of interpreting tree care standards and providing guidelines of practice for arborists, tree workers, and the people who employ their services.
This BMP, now avaialble in Spanish, contains vital information illustrated with drawings and tables. It explains proper preparation of the root ball and the planting hole, the actual planting process, and subsequent pruning and maintenance.
It also serves as a companion publication for the ANSI A300 Tree Care Standards.
