Tree Climbing Standard Operating Procedures or Guidelines

    Summary

Tree climbing poses potential risks, but by following standard operating procedures (SOP’s) tree climbing safety can be improved. This seminar will present a template of a tree climbing SOG or SOP and demonstrate implementation. The equipment and systems to climb trees are diverse and by implementing a standard tree climbing procedure you provide guidance to your workers on what systems and safety protocols are expected from your organization and also reduce liability in the event of an accident.  Where there are documented procedures or guidelines for specific work tasks, training can be done more efficiently and due diligence is more effectively demonstrated.
