Public Outreach and ISA
The mission of the International Society of Arboriculture is to promote the professional practice of arboriculture and create a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees through education and the sharing of information regarding research and technology.
One way that ISA strives to accomplish this goal is by assisting homeowners and other tree owners about the need for professional care to grow and sustain healthy trees. Understanding the benefits of trees and their importance is an important public outreach goal for ISA.
To assist in this effort, ISA developed the public education website www.TreesAreGood.org to provide tree care information and tools for finding a qualified tree care professional within a local community.
We are all responsible for caring for the trees in our communities and at our homes. ISA is working to prepare homeowners and tree owners with the resources to make an impact at the local level. For more information on public outreach and education, email us at tag@isa-arbor.com.
