The ISA Municipal Specialist Certification has been updated and rebranded. This study guide has not been revised but may still be a useful publication for those studying for the ISA Certified Urban Forest Professional exam. The new domains for this exam are available here.
ISA has begun the multi-year process for a study guide for the ISA Certified Urban Forest Professional exam but does not anticipate a print date prior to 2027.
Any educational or preparatory material, whether published by ISA or not, should NOT be considered the sole source of information for an ISA certification examination. This publication and the ISA certification program exams are developed through separate processes and entities.
